In practice, the AW2521H looks great for both productivity and gaming, but there’s no denying that other systems do a little bit better in terms of raw specs - even systems that cost a fraction of the price. Likewise, the Acer XFA240 had 352 nits of brightness, 106% of the sRGB spectrum and a Delta-E of 0.26. In terms of brightness, the AW2521H outputs an average of 397 nits, with an sRGB color percentage of 105 and a Delta-E color accuracy of 0.32 (closer to zero is better this is very good).Ĭompare and contrast to other 1080p monitors we’ve reviewed, such as the MSI Optix MAG272C, which had a brightness of only 224 nits, but an sRGB percentage of 134 and a Delta-E of 0.24. Mobile device such like S21 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus has 245Hz PWM frequency which is still low.The screen is also bright, colorful and accurate. No info about PWM frequency of the brightness.Īs an example, a lot of OLED laptops have 60Hz or 240Hz PWM frequency which is abysmally slow. I'm lucky to have a MicroCenter near me so I'll hopefully be able to view this unit in person sometime soon. I do think the buyer beware section is well merited but at this instant, there is nothing like it for the price. Feels like some one inserted the wrong clip there.Īs for for the monitor itself, specs and pricing seem to be great. One thing that does seem off is the sponsor ad at the end which plays stock store web capture for the pillow. This probably should have been made in the studio. Just something seemed really, really off while watching as if a blue screen was being used. It wasn't until a rewatched that I noticed a moving reflection in the Resident Evil segment that I was able to see a reflection in the over the shoulder view. Between the two different cameras recording, perspectives, and where things are focused in the cameras make the game play footage appear as if it was pasted over over the monitor itself in post production. On the side shots, you can see the deck fence reflected on the monitor but when cut to over the shoulder view, it nearly disappears. The most distracting thing in this video is the amount of glare you see depending on the camera angle.
